About the Physician

Dr. Pocos is a board-certified, fellowship-trained, orthopaedic surgeon with over 2 decades of experience in surgical and non-surgical orthopaedic care.  He has been serving Huron and Erie counties, as well as surrounding areas with care and compassion throughout this timeframe.

With a special interest in total joint replacement, Dr. Pocos has been performing Mako robotic procedures since 2020.  As a member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS.org), he stays up to date with latest techniques and recommendations in total joint treatment.  Dr. Pocos also performs surgery of the shoulder, upper extremity, knee arthroscopy, ankle surgery and nerve decompression, such as carpal tunnel release.

Dr. Pocos cares for fractures and offers many conservative, non-operative options for common orthopaedic conditions including arthritis of the shoulder, hip and knee.  Offerings include medication, injections and bracing alternatives.
