About the Physician

Dr. Stepanic is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with extensive experience in both surgical and non-surgical management of musculoskeletal conditions. He specializes in a wide range of orthopaedic procedures, with a particular focus on minimally invasive arthroscopic techniques for the knee and shoulder, including rotator cuff and labral repair, all-inside meniscal repairs, and autograft ACL reconstruction.

His surgical expertise extends to joint reconstruction and total joint replacement of the knee, hip, and shoulder, as well as carpal tunnel release, cubital tunnel surgery with ulnar nerve transposition, and trauma care involving fracture, tendon, and laceration repair. He also performs hardware removal and revision total knee arthroplasty.

Dr. Stepanic earned his undergraduate degree from John Carroll University in University Heights, Ohio, and his medical degree from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, Ohio. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency through Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan.

He is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgeons and holds an active medical license through the State of Ohio Medical Board.

Currently practicing with NOMS Healthcare since 2016, Dr. Stepanic brings over three decades of experience, including prior roles at North Coast Orthopaedic Surgery and Garden City Hospital. He is affiliated with several regional hospitals, including Firelands Regional Medical Center, Promedica Fremont Memorial Hospital, The Bellevue Hospital, Magruder Hospital, and Erie Shores Surgery Center.
