Human Resources Manager - Full Time

Cleveland, OH

Responsible for Human Resource functions including organization development planning, recruitment and staffing, compensation, benefits administration, and EEOC Reporting. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops and administers various human resources plans and procedures for all team members.
  • Develops, recommends, and implements personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains handbook on policies and procedures.
  • Performs benefit administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment.
  • Implement and annually update compensation program; rewrite job descriptions as necessary. Conduct annual salary surveys and develop compensation budget. Monitor performance evaluation program and revise as necessary.
  • Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and non-exempt personnel, conducts onboarding and new-employee orientations; monitors career path program, employee relations, exit interviews, writes and places advertisements.
  • Develop and maintain affirmative action program. Maintain records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
  • Maintain HRIS records and compiles reports as needed.
  • Participate in staff meetings and attend various organization meetings as needed.
  • Understand payroll processes and be able to provide coverage as necessary.
  • Be able to conduct incident investigations and make recommendations.
  • Provide HR support and guidance.
  • Performs other duties as required and assigned.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Excellent organization and follow-through skills, attention to detail and the ability to work within time constraints.
  • Proficient in Kronos, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to self-direct.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to be flexible and handle changing priorities.

Education and Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree and five (5) years’ Human Resources experience.
  • PHR certification preferred.
